  I am modified my essay second draft and write an article's summary.After all the writing.I will go outside to print it. Then I will finish my CS homework to think some ideas and describe my advertisement product.

Moday

    I am review the chapter 23 to 27 to prepare tomorrow book quiz, then I read the article and write 2 questions about the article. After this, I will prepare some ideas about advertisement for CS final presentation.

Sunday

 I will review chapter 24 and 25, then start to read chapter 26 and 27. After this I will read some news and find some resources about CS advertisement project . After this I will print my essay.

Saturday

 I read chapter 24 and 25 and take some notes about two chapters. Then I am write my essay second draft. After this I will do some typing exercises and do some other homework.

Friday

   I review chapter 23 and start to 24 find all the main ideas and new vocabularies. write the summary about two chapters. Besides this I will read another novel to find some good sentences use in writing. Then I do the listening log.

Thursday

 I review chapter 23 and fix out something I m confused,then start to read a new chapter. I will take 2 hour to finish all the reading. After reading I will do some typing exercises.Then I will do other homework and exercise.

Wednesday

Today I finished read the novel chapter 23 and I check all the new words. Then try to understand what is this chapter talk about. After this I  do some extra reading about another novel. Then I finish other homework about CS.

My progress

    In the midterm meeting,I find my writing closed to the benchmark. My writing skill still need improve.My essay need some good topic sentences and focusing examples in body paragraphs. After midterm, I am pay attention to these problems and write an essay put more examples and details in every paragraphs, and also spend more time to fix my grammar mistakes in essay.I hope I can have a big improve with my reading and writing in next week and this is my plan for week 7 during April 23 to April 29
    4/23 Wednesday I will read the novel chapter 21 and I will check all the new words. Then try to understand what is this chapter talk about. After this I will finish other homework.
    4/24 Thursday I will review chapter 21, fix out something I am confused,then start a new chapter. I will take 2 hour to finish all the reading. After reading I will do some typing exercises.
    4/25 Friday  I will review chapter 21 and 22 all the main ideas and new vocabularies. write the summary about two chapters. Besides this I will read another novel to find some good sentences use in writing.
    4/26 Saturday I will read chapter 23 first time I look through it use dictionary to check new vocabularies and find some important information about this chapter then take some notes with it
    4/27 Sunday   I will read another novel and newspapers to find some good sentences can use topic sentences, Then do some typing and grammar excises.I will practice some essay topics .
    4/28 Monday   I will review chapter 23 write a short summary  about this and then start to read chapter 24. Similar before, check words and understand the whole meaning about this chapter
    4/29 Tuesday  I will read the last chapter and review all there chapters. make a conclude with all 4 chapters and find a harder one to fix it. Then do some other homework.

Proverb

   In China has a common saying called Fish and Bear's paw cannot have both. It is similar like every coin has two sides.It is means when two things in front of us, If we choose one, the other will be give up. Whatever we get the result good or bad.It is teach us, maybe we will not have a lot of beautiful thing at the same time. If we choose one, we must be insist on your choice. In our daily life we will face many things and need a lot of time to do a choose. It is makes our happy or sad. However,I believed that every choice, I can find beauty in ordinary things.Do not lose this ability. It is also gives us a positive attitude to face our life and encourage people work hard to get a better result.  

Reading reflection

   I read an article from Greensboro local newspaper named Another gray miserable day written by Joe Gamm. According to this article talks about the other day Greensboro's bad weather.In those days the weather is chilly drizzle.It cause the temperatures is sharp down and It is so cold. Not only that some schools have a short break in those days,but also the heavy weather lead to many accidents because a pieces of ice on the road.Moreover, about 600 residential customer lost electricity. This weather caused people's attention and some relevant person take emergency measures to solved those problems.
   In my view, I know that the weather is not control for people. We only can avoid it and keep away from it.The bad weather caused inconvenience to people's life and travel.We all hope to have a good weather to enjoy our life.

Learning reflection

  In this week,I learn about adjective clause, Thesis statements,and how to write summarize correctly. In my opinion, For me, I think best useful activities are discuss the novel pay it forward and teach the various sentences about the thesis statements and summarize.
   Discuss the novel help me understand the meaning of every chapters clearly, it  is useful to next day book quiz. I can get a good grade in quiz. Besides I learn about how to write a correct form summarize and some useful sentences about the thesis statements. It is helpful to write an essay and improve my writing ability.
   However, I still confused the adjective clause. I can not make two simple sentences together to become a complete sentence with adjective expertly. Sometimes I always choose a wrong word to connect the sentences. I think the adjective clause has many correct answer and it can make up a lot of sentences, so I don't know how to choose a good sentence with adjective clause in essay.

Grammar Journal

   During I study English, Grammar is a difficult part for me. When I write an essay I always has a lot of grammar mistakes in it. I am afraid of Verb tense and some sentences clause. I don't know how to write a correct sentence with a America form. I am worried about teacher can't understand what I say.
   With the grammar, I always confused about the tense. Whatever I write a paragraph or say something to friends. It is bring me a trouble that I can not write or say something clearly so that makes people don't understand the meaning.
   The another one is the sentence clause. when I write an essay, sometimes it is not a complete sentences, because it is short of another clause. However, I don't check it immediately. It is always need teacher helps me to correct this mistakes.
   For these issue, I am find some ways to solve it. Through I am reading novel or newspaper I am pay attention to every paragraph's verb tense and sentences clause. Moreover, I research some sentences clause on the internet,to see how to write a good complete sentences in the essay. I believed that from my strive I can improve my writing ability and try to fix out my weakness in writing.

The benefits of reading

  I like reading, because I hold that reading has a lot of benefits to me. I like to read novels and magazines. I think through reading can give me a lot of good advises and help. When I have free time I always choose a book to read.
   Reading gives me strong energy to solve the problems. When I met hard problems, I always clam down and think a idea to solve the problems in the best way. I think reading makes me strong and I can get a lot of useful information to solve all the problems by myself. I have more ideas in my mind from the reading. Reading makes my heart soft. When I am feeling bad I also choose a book to read,because I can find a positive attitude in the book, and finish reading it change my mood.
  Reading also improve my writing ability. Last term read a novel named holes and  this term we read pay it forward. First of all, I am check all the new words, make sure I can understand easily.Then I am reading fast to know about every chapters main events. Finally I am use some words or sentence which I can remember it to show in the writing.
 To sum up, reading is a good habit for us. It can enlarge our knowledge of scope and obtain advanced knowledge no matter we want to know. Do a good reader can change our life and make us sense of achievement.

early bird catches the worm

   There is a saying that early bird catches the worm，I think it is translated into Chinese means Hard-working. Personally,I hold that no matter what we do everything need hard-working and try to do best as you can. Hard-working are necessary personal qualities of a person.
   Basic on my experience, from my high school,I was not good in math,and I don't like to learn all the things about math. My teacher always remind me，If I was keep going on with this situation，I will not get into my ideal university. At first, I don't think it is a serious situation about me. I think expect math also has many subjects to use,and depend on these I can get into a good university easier. However, when school has a test，because I did not made good results with math.Suddenly, I realized that I must hard-working with math.I have a bad mathematical foundation，so for me learn math is so difficult to me. I am hard-working on math class and after class I will do some practices with math.Through my effort, my math scores have been rising. Although I still don't like math. Finally I get into my ideal university.
   I believe that there will be hard to do anything can get a big rewards.No matter how the situation was before，do best effort can change it.I think only the efforts can have sense of achievement and make you successful.

Pay it forward

   Nowadays, every country's economy is growing at a startling pace. There are become more powerful. However, there are also has a lot of poor and homeless people need the government and everyone in the society to cares for them.
   There is no denying that China has a huge population, so different people have different situation. Although China is a developing country, the government set up many relief organizations to help a group of people which has different problems. For instance, China has many homeless help center, It gives homeless people a good place to have a rest,and give them food or clothes for free.Finally they can help them to find their family，Because some of these people do not really has their own family. Besides,If someone do not enough money to see a doctor, China has a organization named Red Cross society helps people free to treat their diseases. In addition to China also has many homeless animals shelters to take care dogs,cats and other animals.They give food and find a friendly person who can willing to continue to feed this animal.
   Basic on my experience, I hold that whatever help people or animals can makes society more harmonious. If everyone pay it forward to each other，then the world will be full with love.

writing conference meeting

   Yesterday noon,I had writing conference meeting with my RW teacher. I asked some questions about how to write a good essay and how to improve my writing ability. When I write an essay I always make a mistakes with the thesis statement, main ideas and some details should be related with the main ideas.

    Teacher helps me to modify my first draft essay's errors.She told me thesis needs to include all 3 body paragraphs main ideas in 1 sentences. Each paragraphs has 1 main idea and this idea is clearly written in the first sentence of each body paragraph.For body paragraph should add more details and examples to body paragraphs.Moreover, teacher also teach me how to write the essay's conclusion.Essay's conclusion needs a sentence about your 3 main ideas and also to change some words before I write.

    Through teacher told some good advises for me to improve my writing ability. I hope I can write a good essay at the 2nd draft.It is can better then before.

America Stereotypes

   Before I didn't come to America, I heard some information about my teacher and friends. After I came here, and  I found some myths in America.
     First of all, my teacher told me America's lifestyle  is easy and more relax and the class is easy to study. However, when I came to America and after a period of time to learn, I felt a little pressure. Because I am poor at English, after class I have a lot of things to do. For example, finish homework and many activities need to joined it.  I feel I am so busy and not have enough time to do something I want  in everyday. I found that American college life easier，because my roommates is all the Americans, I always saw they are have a short vacation and enjoy their rest. It seems that no homework.
     Secondly my friend told me America people is focus on clean, but I saw American's room. I think is so mess. Sometimes they are lazy and they don't clean their room. They are don't care the details. They like to  make things simple. I really appreciate this view.They always have a good mood and positive attitude in everyday.
      Another stereotype that I think American food is varied. However, they are also only have Burger， fries and fried chicken. It makes me feel a little suited, and I want to lose my weights before I come back China.
     Although the United States has these stereotypes,  I still slowly to adapt, I think I can live very well in the United States。

Smile energy

   Everyone has their own smiling, It is kind of magical powers can deeply impact people who around you. It is also a positive attitude for people.A Smile is the world's best medicine to heal the wounds in people's heart.
   I like to smile, because I think when you smile to people, you also can receive a good mood in everyday. It can be say hello or good morning to people, let us feel your is a warm-heart person and make friends with me. Smiling also can make me confident. When I feel sad, I saw my friend smile to me, I am feel very comfortable and better then before. If I am feel nervous, I saw someone's smile, It also makes me calm down and give me energy to continue with my work.Smile like a sunshine to encourage person do everything with a positive attitude and enough motive power to try to do best things for others
   Smile to others can be share love with others  and also can change the world a little bit. Makes the world full of love. Smile is improve the relationship between. Let us know how to take cares strangers. So smile everyday and have a good mood to enjoy our colorful life.

America culture

     When I came to America, I found something different in China especially the education. That's the reason why I came to America. I want to widen my horizon,and obtain the advanced knowledge about my major accounting.

     America education is both theory and practice. For instance, Chinese teacher teach us just follow the book and the practice is also from the book to check us study level and ability. However, in America teacher teach in class with many activities to show us the theory. Through this way can help me remember this knowledge deeply.

    America teacher is more profession then Chinese. In my Chinese university my major accounting teacher only teach this lesson. But in America, I think the teacher is not only a teacher but also a profession accountant. So they  can teach me more profession knowledge about my major.

     Taking into account all these factors, I think I can Study well in America. I will learn America culture gradually.and efforts to adapt to life in America.

Plagiarism

   When it comes plagiarism, It means a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work. Views on this issue vary from person to person. Personally, In my opinion there are advantages and disadvantages on both sides

    In the first place, plagiarism is a wrong behavior, It is unfair to the other people. For instance, If teacher give a same topic to writing, and someone who plagiarism others idea, don't think by self, wants to get a high marks. It is unfair to the hard-working students and the plagiarist is not to show the real ability to teacher. 

    However, sometimes reference is understandable，because everyone hope that writing  a prefect article by self , we always talk to our friends and ask some good ideas, in addition to read some book and internet resources to make the article more better then before. It is benefits to our mind has more and more ideas to supporting the article. 
     In my country, teachers always advocate plagiarism, but it is not means copy all the paragraphs, just find some good sentences and main ideas to change that. Make them become own word， then use to writing.
      Admittedly, both sides are reasonable. Although plagiarism is not to describe a person writing ability.  appropriate reference  make articles become more fluent.

My RW3 goals

  My name is sunny, I come from China. My major is accounting. For this RW3 term, I have three goals need to achieve.
   First goal is improve much my reading abilities, such as reading speed, read comprehension and reading quiz. I know in this term, the articles is harder then before,and so many difficult vocabularies need I research in class. The articles maybe more  academic then RW2. After class I need do more excises to improve my reading ability.  
  Second goal is write more and more better paragraph, to get check or check plus. I hope I can have a strong writing ability at the end of this term.  I need to reading more paragraph, use some good main ideas in my writing. I know this term we will typing in computer, I am very worried about that. Because, when I am typing in computer, I always forget what I want to say. The idea is not think fast  then hand writing. Moreover, I think I typing is slow then hand writing. So I also need to improve my typing ability.
  The last but not least goal is I hope I can pass this level. I will hard-working in this term to make sure I can pass RW3 and have a good grade in this term.
